Secord Housing for Women
The Secord Housing for Women (formerly known as The Marr) is a residential supportive housing program for women. The goal of the program is to support women to access community services and to live independently of violence and abuse, within a harm-reduction framework.
The Secord has 28 single rooms spread over two floors. Each room is furnished with a fridge, bed, microwave, two tables and a chair. Each room also has either a small closet area or a shelving unit. There is a communal kitchen, common lounge and a laundry room on the second floor. The Secord has five bathrooms, four showers and one bathtub/shower combined.
