Kyé7e (QUE-A-AH) Housing for Women
Kyé7e houses eleven women over the age of 45. There is a communal kitchen and sitting area, with a telephone, that the women can use to make and receive personal calls. Each unit includes a fridge. There are two communal bathrooms, each with a shower. There are washers and dryers in the residence that women can use free of charge. Hot meals are delivered to the residents once a day.
The units would not be suitable for women with mobility issues as there are two flights of stairs to reach the living units. Kyé7e is located on Cordova and Main Street, which is easily accessible through public transit.
Support staff are on site for a couple of hours a day to provide support and referrals to women who need them.
